The Model UN experience is as much about following protocol as arguing the fine points of an issue. The Delegate Training Manual provides information on parliamentary procedure, as well as tips on how to prepare for a Model UN conference. While several club meetings will be devoted to reviewing the material, members—new and experienced—are strongly encouraged to read or re-read important sections on their own. Familiarizing oneself with procedural rules, though tedious at first, will save a great deal of time for up-and-coming members of the club.
